How to Become a Member
Benefits of Membership
Membership has many unique benefits at both the national and local level. The Coral Gables branch of NLAPW membership provides:
*A sisterhood in which to find opportunities to network with other arts professionals, enter national and local juried exhibits and contests, and participate in professional enrichment programs.
*Opportunities to stir up your creative process and share your talent with others.
*Giving and receiving mentoring.
*A scholarship for a future artist.
How to Become a Member
Contact a member you may know or the membership chair. The application for each category may be found in the NLAPW website. NLAPW.org Send your completed application along with appropriate documents, the required check written to National League of American Pen Women, and a letter of recommendation to the Coral Gables Membership Chair, maruchicarmona.com. She will then review the application and help the prospective member meet any unmet requirements. She will get the approval and signatures of the local chapter and mail the application to the National League of American Pen Women. Once approved by National, the Membership Chair will contact the prospective member and notify her of the approval.
